a little recipe help

Just received 36 lbs. frozen strawberries and 18 lbs. frozen kiwi. the last batch of strawberry I did I used 24 lbs. per 6 gallons. turned out kinda thin still drinkable. I am asking, to use all of this fruit should I make it a 6 gallon batch? as this is what I thought would work best. I made a 6 gallon batch with 24 lbs strawberries and 10 lbs kiwi and it turned out good. im thinking all the extra fuit would make more body. what do you think? it seems in the past the more fruit for strawberry wine the better the wine. also, should I pit the kiwis when peeling them? or just peel them?

I'd use all the strawberries and 10 lbs of the kiwi, that would give you 46 lbs of fruit. And I'd make a 5 gallon.

I agree with you, also the kiwi are a little on the tart side, they may intrude so 10 lbs it is. I turned my wife into a wino with the last batch of straw kiwi. she'll like this one too. thanks.

What I'd do in the future is make the strawberry and kiwi separate. Then you can blend it and get it just where you want it.
