A Manually Operated Vertically Transposing Machine for the Extraction of Fermentation Seals

A good friend of mine made this for me. He has quite a few wood working tools as well as machine shop tools. The wood is a piece of Pecan from his orchard.

This was in an issue of Machinist Workshop magazine a while back. I have attached the article as a PDF if anyone is interested in making one. It has a locking pin for insertion and then you rotate the pin out and reverse for extraction.

Pretty cool Mike! He should make a whole bunch of then using exotic woods like Bubinga and Zebra wood, I bet they wood (Pun Intended) sell great!
