As you know we're all addicted to making wine. I am guilty of the affliction! Last spring I asked a dear friend who actually knows wine and tests mine for me if he'd like me to make him his own wine. He lit up at the thought, discussed it with his wife and in-laws, and decided on a Pinot Grigio and a Riesling. They paid for the kits and I did the making part. Yesterday I saw him at work and he hands me a beautiful card from his in-laws and him and his wife with a delightful thank you note for the wine. With it was a $25 gift card!

The gift card was unexpected and wonderful but it was the sentiment in the card and their hearty approval of their wine that means the most to me. All I ever expected was that they thought the wine was good enough to drink!

As I told my friend...I feel a need to send a thank you for the thank you!

Well send a thank you for the thank you! There can't be too much of a good thing like that!

It's an American Express card, Wade so I suppose I could use it with George if he'll let me!

It just keeps getting better and better! So nice when you get thanked for a job well done. That is what the surprise trip was I went on to Geneva. I was told it was to thank me for going above and beyond what was expected of me to do. I continue to get compliments from folks who visit the Willsboro site from Cornell.
