Add Tannin to blueberry wine?

Any people out there experienced in making blueberry wine have an opinion on whether or not to add tannin to blueberry wine. It's my understanding that blueberries already contain plenty, so would adding tannin effect the taste negatively?

I've made 4 or 5 batches with and without tannin. No adverse impact. As long as you don't hit it too heavy with it. A lot depends on berry variety and how ripe the berries are.

I always do, 1/4t/gal, seems right to me.
