Allinone to press grapes

I'm having a hard time finding the post on the subject. I remember someone used the pump and a couple buckets to press grapes, but I can't find it.

funny you bring this up...I was brainstorming last night with a buddy...we both get in trouble when we think! Water pressure powered sausage stuffer...which is pretty much a piston arrangement powered by city water pressure. Later on I begin to wonder IF one could be adapted to crush grapes and I think it could. Sort of opposite from what you want to do...well OK, it's completely different!

Bet your buckets would be easier to clean up afterwards.

Thats pretty sweet! I was looking at doing the butt bucket for my first few grape runs - hopefully this fall or probably purchasing another $$$ single purpose mechanical device. This AIW has finally and literally saved my butt! Thanks BigMac and thanks Steve!

I have a vacuum bitchmann engineering press and it works like a champ. It will be tested this year doing a Chardonnay.

Here is a nice setup that can be used to make your first run easier.
It uses a plastic pipe with holes in it and a filter bag around it - drop it in your primary and let your Allinone pull from the middle of the tube. That way it is removing alot of your 1st run without having to lift and make a mess of things.
