Well, Iguess it's part of the learning curve

I started my very first kit this morning. Its actually fun even though I had to use a butter knife to remove the cap from the juice bag.
Well thinking ahead, I tore some of the kit box away to prevent my precious grape juice from getting cardboard cootie contamination.((C.C.C.))
Then the great discover was revealed as I poured the juice into the primary bucket.

The juice bag is NOT glued to the box

Use your imagination.
The kit is cooking now in spite of the minor setback.

of mind as i was on my knees removing a juice stain from the rug.
However here is a photo of the bedroom i converted into my winery.

The first 2 are the shots after the spill and have the 6 gallon wine in the primary bucket.
The rest of the pics show my addiction to this art as it has grown in a very short time.

Scotty, an old-fashioned bottle opener ("church key") will work wonders on your caps until you get one of George's de-cappers. And, as I recall one of Smurfe's pictorial tutorials shows how tocut the flaps to hold the bag within the box while you pour. If you note on the higher-end Wine Expert kits, the flaps are pre-cut so you can easily snap then out for hand-holds and to hold the bag nozzle, but the weight of the juice will still tear the flaps-- so judicious application of duct-tape (or packing tape) will make it MUCH easier to control your pouring!

But then, we've all learned this by doing so I find "Resolve" helps with those rug stains!
