My paternal great-grandfather was from Sweden (Skagershult, Örebro, Sverige) and immigrated to the US in the early 1900s. His wife was from Denmark - she had also immigrated to the US about the same time and they met in the Minneapolis area, as far as I can tell from what info we have.
My maternal side is almost 100% Norwegian.
