Hi! Any idea what the yellowing leaves is could indicate (see picture attached)?
Seems like my vines have been stunted in growth for quite a few weeks now (it's almost July) and some of the plants have been showing yellowing leaves the ultimately die off (mostly basal leaves or in the center). The attached picture is of Primitivo 1103P. The vines are growing in their second year in California (East Bay) with clay-rich soil. I also noticed some leaves turning red.
I believe there is enough water supply - have been watering every 3 days before sunrise, total of ~3-4 gal per vine per week. Vines have also been sprayed with Neem oil and copper for pest and fungus control.
My gut feel tells me this might be a nitrogen deficiency, so I likely will try some fertilizer. However, I would be open for any suggestions!
Thanks!
