Hello,
My name is Fred and I'm from montreal Canada and decided to start making my own wine from grapes imported from California. My father has been making wine from grapes for the last 35 years yet I want to make wine by understanding each step and to understand how to improve the final product. Every year around September it's time to purchase grapes that have shipped from california and so it's not fresh from the day probably 1 week old or so. Now I want to know if taking the refractive index is a good option or not. So I need help. I want to make cabarnet Sauvignon or sangiovese.
