TA-DA! Cabernet Sauvignon...sample tasted good. Fruity, not sweet, the way I like a cab red!
BTW, little bit of foam on top is from sanitizer, StarSan tends to be that way. It goes away in an hour or two.

Hello Bakervinyard,

Thank you. I made a 2.5 Gallon batch - not from a kit, did things a la carte, here are the ingredients I used..

1 - 46 ounce can Alexander's Sun Country Cabernet Sauvignon Grape Concentrate
2.25 Lbs cane sugar
4 tsp acid blend
2 tsp pectic enzyme
2 tsp yeast nutrient
H2O to 2.5 Gallons

Lalvin EC-1118

Fermented 6 weeks. OG 1.085, FG 0.985

Still working on a logo for my labels... :)

Congrats!

I agree with Bakervineyard. Those bottles sure do look nice, but would look even better with a proper label and perhaps a nech sleeve.

Most folks don't use Alexanders as it makes for weak wine. However, you made only 2 1/2 gallons so it is most likely very good.

I got a recipe from Longtrain where I used 2 cans of alexander cab and five jars of smuckers seedless jam. It is wonderful. Got to make some more as I am almost out.

Your wine looks good, post your label when you do that.
