Bottles for sparkling wine

I have been collecting champagne bottles recently as I want to make traditional method sparkling wine. Cava is made by the same method so those bottles should be ok. Recently, I have been reading about how prosecco is produced and the method is very different. Also, some prosecco is in caged bottles and some is not. So my question is: can I use prosecco for traditional method sparkling wine?

I plan on making a sparkling Rosé this spring. I'm using smaller 187 mL bottles. I plan on capping these with beer bottle caps.
