My name is Robert from Elburn, Illinois.

I just bought all my equipment today and my first wine kit (Pinot Grigio from WE).

I hope to learn and grow with help from this forum. But I am also lucky to have a good local brew shop that has been very helpful.

Just read the instructions and you will get most of your questions answered. We can help with the others.

I suggest you read up on wine making in general and especially kit wine making. There is lots of info out there on the internet.

Luckily wine making is very forgiving. It is hard to totally ruin a batch.

I was a little intimidated to start. With such an emphasis on sterilization, I was afraid I would mess up right off the bat.

But after looking on the Internet and YouTube, I feel more confident.

I do have a question on the type of water to use, but I will post it in the beginner's section.
