Do you have a LHBS close that you could get a replacement tomorrow? I think you would be ok letting it sit until then.

I'd have at it, given your time line. I've done mostly WE kits and the yeast is crazy good. As long as you can recover 80-90% of the original yeast product you should be OK. This is probably a situation where if you're itching to get going, I'd use the closed lid/airlock method as opposed to the muslin cover method for your primary. If no bubbles in 48 hours, re-pitch.

I pitched last night and this morning all the water in the airlock was on one side so there is action in the bucket
I will let ya'll know the outcome of this moscato
I do wish supliers had a 24 hour hotline

If the yeast stayed dry it will be ok. And to go with wineforfun, if the lid is snapped down take it off to let air in to ferment. Just set it on top to keep big nasties out

What does that mean?

Do you have the lid on loosely or is it attached and snapped down?

I believe he is referring to an S shaped airlock.

When the ferment is rolling the CO2 forces all the water in the airlock to one side as it escapes.

I was refering to an s style airlock and now the bubbles are rolling like a boiling pot it is progressing nicely
