What kit are you specifically referring to? The only Cabernet Franc kit made by Winexpert is an ice wine style kit. It is a dessert wine and not a dry, varietal red wine. I think MM makes or used to be a 10L Cabernet Franc kit.
Cabernet Franc is a specific variety of vitis vinifera wine grapes. It's distinct from Cabernet Sauvignon...and actually is one of Cabernet Sauvignon's parent grapes along with Sauvignon Blanc.
It's best to be specific when asking about a particular kit. You're asking about the Winexpert Selection International French Cabernet Sauvignon kit?
If you're wanting a French style Cabernet Sauvignon, don't call it 'Cab Fanc' as that will imply an entirely different grape. I'm not sure Winexpert even makes their Selection International French Cab any as it's no longer listed on their website. Looks like it's just the World Vineyard brand kit. Compared to a higher-end Cab kit with grape skins, that kit will probably be lighter in body. I don't think any of the higher-end Cab kits are sourced from France, however.
