Can I cork port bottles?

I have some bottles that came with port in them using the T-caps. Those are the short corks with the plastic cap on the end. Can I use regular #9 corks in these bottles and re-use them for wine. The reason I ask is that the T-cap cork seems to be a little smaller in diameter than a regular cork.

Thig, Yes you can use a #9 cork on these bottles. I have a friend that gave me several cases and I have them all filled up and had no problems corking the bottles.

Yup, like Phil says...#9 x1 3/4. Thats all I use

Can i tack on here? How about champaign bottles, can they be re-corked also?
