I started my Yakima Chardonnay this morning. The flavor and aroma of the juice is amazing. Sorry no photos the camera is on the blitz ( or it's operator error ) more than likely the later

I made mine about two months ago. I am adding oak cubes to mine for 4 weeks. I like alot of oak in my Chards. I do think this one will be very good.

I have my yakima chard still bulk aging but i did taste it and it tasyes just like the description it definately has the green apple and pear which i love also this will not be a brawny oaked chard if you just use the acacia oak that comes with it but man is it good!!!!!!

I am going to stick with the oak that comes in the kit. My wife doesn't care for too much oak in a wine. I may try battonage on this I just haven't made up my mind yet.

My vines have now run the whole length of my trellis. Some of the suckers have reached the ground and I have had to cut them back. The vines have not decided to slow down any. Every time I walk through the vines I find clusters of grapes trying to grow. I am so ready to see what they will do next year.

Bob, I did the battonage process on my chard and OMG......I am not a chard lover usually, but at 14 months of age, this is a wonderful chard!! I am definitely making this white again and doing the battonage.

You are going to love it!!
