Chardonnay won't clear...

I have a chardonnay kit making, it is a Winexpert Vintners Reserve, I followed all steps properly all way to clarification and it should had cleared 2 week ago but is still hazy, so the only thing I can think of is that it wasn't fully degassed, (the wine already has k-meta, sorbate and isinglass) and I was thinking in racking it again using the allinonepump and add a package of super kleer, is this a good idea?

My experience with these kits has been to rack after 2 weeks of clearing. Some of the kits specifically say to add one quarter teaspoon kmeta at this point which I do even if the kit doesn't say to. I then let them age another month and quite a bit drops out. Then I rack again for further clarity. Hopefully after 3 or 4 months I can bottle.

I also have been doing these kits and they all clear on schedule, except this one, that's why I think it was a human error in degassing properly...

Rack it first, then warm it up to 74F and use the vacuum pump to get any excess gas out. Since it is just hazy, it should then clear on its own in a couple weeks. If it doesn't, use the SuperKlear. The warmer the wine, the faster it will clear, but just don't get it too warm.

Thank you Robie, I will do it.

pectin haze

:slpSometime these kits suffer from pectin haze or a high solid content and will not clear as expected ,don't bother to rack if I were you just hit with supercleer and wait it will clear..:slp

Okidoki...

I just started this kit about 2 weeks ago. Sofar,so good. I plan on bulk aging this kit till summer time. Will be de-gassing it this weekend.

After I added the super-kleer it was good, this product works wonders....
