Has anyone made this kit and if so how did you like it. I am thinking this one looks like my next kit, if its good.

Started on 1/10/10.

Still have it bulk aging and honestly have not taken a single sip yet but this one is scheduled to be bottled probably next month and I will definitely post a thread with pics and tasting notes.

Most kits that come with grape packs tend to be quite reliable although I have not made this particular kit. Make sure you have something else working as well as this one will most likely take some decent aging time.

Just as a matter of academic interest, are there any kits George carries that are NOT "good" or even "great"? Seems like we all ask each other if this kit or another is pretty good, and the answer is always "Yes!"

I have come to trust George to the point that I don't worry about whether a particular kit is good or not, I know he wouldn't offer it if it wasn't. When a particular kit has not sold well, he will discount it deeply and get rid of what he has stocked and not carry it again. I guess you could say an "average" kit can become a "good" one at 50% off the original price, though, right?

IMO now that he is down to the best 3 brands all the kits are good or excellent.
