I got into wine at the beginning of Jan. I successfully made a Cheeky Monkey Chardonnay kit, which resulted in the "obsession" as it has been called in the forums. I am currently making a Cheeky Monkey Shiraz and WE Chardonnay kit, while playing with fruit wines on the side.

Currently i have the following in progress

strawberry + delicious apple (3 Gallon)
Banana (1 Gallon)
Skeeter Pee with banana sludge (1 Gallon)
Saskatoon + delicious apple (3 Gallon)
Cantaloupe (3 gallons)
Mandarin Orange (5 gallon)
Strawberry/Kiwi (1 Gallon)

I just wanted to say thanks for the forums, until I found them, I was tossing wine I thought was unrecoverable. I kept getting a sulfur/sewer smell and I have discovered it is our tap water that is doing it. I am now using bottled water and it is looking good so far.

By reading the forums, I managed get rid of the smell in the Stawberry/Apple, Saskatoon/Apple, Mandarin Orange and the Shiraz kit.

So thanks again for the great advice and I will be checking the forums often, looking for more knowledge/ideas.
