My wife has seen stories on the cocoa industry using child slavery and decided she was going to boycott buying chocolate. Whenever I go to get her something for a holiday or special occasion I need to remember I can't make a chocolate cake or even chocolate chip cookies. Forget that nice box of Whitman Samplers- can't eat the chocolate. What is a guy to do. Well I saw a picture today that is a great idea for the guy in my boat. I can get her chocolate without her complaining and there will be a ton of kisses involved.
I just need to buy her one of these

Dan that is the problem with much of the cocoa industry. They are using children to shell the cocoa beans and they are lucky to get any pay at all. And yes I did work as a child of 12 for an uncle on his vegetable farm. I got 50 cents an hour and earned enough money to by a brand new 2 wheeler. It must have had a positive affect on me because I still farm and am still underpaid. ROFLMAO - almost!

I got my start picking strawberries for 10 cents per quart. I was 10 years old and actually earned more than my father when calculated on a per hour basis. I do not believe in forced child labor but I certainly believe that labor will not hurt a child!

Freakin Adorable!!!!!! Now if anyone brings that box by my house Ill have to shoot them as we would most likely end up with half of them knowing my wife!!!!!

Wade, I can't imagine you shooting all those cute puppies! But I assume that you really meant you would shoot the messenger in this case! Kidding of course of hurting the puppies, it just sounded funny when I read the post.
