Cool Find?

I found an old Vacuum/Pressure pump on a shelf in the back of our shop. Small guy. Pulled it down and cleaned it up. Plugged it in and it runs good. The boss said I could have it. I hooked a pressure gauge up to it and totally plugged it only pulls to 22inHg.
I have been reading a lot on here and another board of people using vac pumps to do their transferring and bottling.
I may have to give this a try.

That's plenty vacuum for degassing. Good score. Glass carboys only (full of course)!

Yep, thats perfect vacuum and all youll need! Youll be in love the first time you use it whether it be racking or degassing and also bottling with the Boun Vino auto filler. With these together I can bottle and cork a 6 gallon batch in under 15 minutes with ease.

I will definitely be giving him a bottle of the Syrah I have going and a bottle of the peach wine I will be doing.
