Folks,

My father gave me one of these earth boxes about 10 year ago and I have been a big fan ever since. I live in an area that is over run with deer, rabbits, and all sorts of things that make having a garden just impossible.

This is why I got into deck gardening. These earth boxes hold 3 cubic feet of soil and MAN, do they work. I planted 6 cucumber plants last year in just one box and must have harvested over 60 cucumbers. They work great for tomatos, peppers, and flowers. My personal favorite is planting basil, it comes out looking like a dark green hedge.

Have a look. For those of you, perhaps living in a condo, missing home grown veggies, this is for you. Does not take up too much space and requires very little care (except for watering).
