I was wondering if anybody saves any of the part of the flavor pouches that come with some kit wines. What i mean is those that have flavors such as peach, strawberry, pear, etc? And if you do, do you freeze them and for how long will they last?

i apologize if I posted this before but i thought I did but it did not show up.

Maybe I am having a senior moment?

Just a thought
thanks!

We always add the entire fpack but then we like sweet wines. Is the only reason you are not using it all because of the sugar? If so you might consider splitting the fpack in half and adding half up front in the primary before pitching the yeast. That way the yeast can take out the sugar by fermenting it and hopefully leave the other flavor element in the fpack in tack. Then refrigerate the other half until the time comes to add it. I've never tried this but I have read of other people doing it.
