I decided to crack open a bottle of the Orange Blossom Mead I made back in November just to see where its at. If you guys say its only going to get better with age, then I need to reserve a bottle for each of the next 5 years to drink on its birthday....... I just hope my corks hold out.

Im guessing thats its awesome now by that statement!

Wade this is my first true mead. Not JAO style. Not Melomel. and I like it a lot........

You sure are tempting me, mine has been in the bottle a little over a year. I want to wait another year but that may fly out the window.

Well, K&GB's bottle of Blueberry Thrill finally succumed to the corkscrew yesterday evening and the friends I shared it with were in agreement with me.....It is fantastic. my sinuses prevented a good test of the nose on this one but the pallete was delighted. It was a delightful wine, and you had no problem ascertaining the fruit from which it was made. THANKS K&GB for sharing this with me...I owe ya !!!!

Sorry for butting in to your thread gaudet but your topic heading made it seem the appropriate place to share this

Waldo, I started this thread for just such conversation. Apology refused cause it just wasn't necessary

Thanks for sharing the pics and kind words, Waldo. Seeing others enjoy this wine is very gratifying and has renewedthis newbie winemaker'senthusiasm.
