Easy go......
A co-worker let me know she had some old wine making stuff at her house that was for the previous owner and if I wanted it I could have it. She called me this morning to come pick it up. I got 4 cases of bordeaux bottles (1 was unopened) a 3 gallon carboy, a 6 gallon carboy, and miscellaneous airlocks and drilled bungs. Anyways a long story short the 6 gallon carboy was so despondent (from being pent up in a hot Louisiana attic) when it made it to its new home that it jumped from the crew cab of my truck and threw itself upon the concrete below.
Crash and a million pieces........ Oh well at least the 3 gallon made it out alive and seems happy to be loved once again. I'll have to give it a good cleaning and sanitizing and rebaptize it soon.
