Yes Jobe, elderberries come from elderflowers, not sure about the
piesporter recipie. We have collected some by just cutting the whole
head off and then pulled the flower heads off by hand. Since we are
making our first elderflower wine this season I cant compare the taste,
but the elderflower wine smell like elderberry flowers while the
elderberry wine tastes better than the real elderberries taste.
