What about adding the brandy, Should I take out enough wine to be replaced by the brandy?

Brandy is optional but I used 500ml of E&J.Some use Everclear.

O.K. So I've still got some questions about the adding of brandy or everclear thing. WHEN DO I ADD IT? IF I FORTIFY THE WINE WITH EVERCLEAR DO I TAKEOUT WINE EQUAL TO THE EVERCLEAR THAT IADD. OR DO I JUST ADD THE EVERCLEAR RIGHT BEFORE BOTTLING AND MIX IT INTO THEEXISTING WINE IN A LARGER CARBOY WITHOUT TAKING OUT ANY WINE??????????

You can add it when your wine is bulk aging. but like you said that will require you to have another vessel to age wine in like a wine bottle with a #3 bung and airlock.
