I planted Carlos and magnolia when I moved to Delaware and retired beginning of last year. None of them made it through the winter, so I need to protect them somehow. I should be able to grow them in my zone 7b.
Check out this variety from isons nursery. Cold hardy disease resistsnt variety. https://www.isons.com/shop/muscadines/potted-noble-muscadine/
They also have a ton of other varieties. Each one is marked as being good for wine, jelly or fresh eating as well as their average sugar content
I'm one of the newbies on the threads. My question is about the muscadine Wines & Vines weather. I planted a male and a female bronze I don't know what name it is. Got my first wine from last year's crop made 4 gallons and my question concerns the mail the mail did not have anything on it for 3 years. But for this year it has as many berries on it as a female. Do you know what kind or what species of muscadine it is.
