Picked up my first 2 Chilean juice buckets from the folks at Presque Isle, a Carmenere and Barbera. Awesome all around service from PI. Made my yeast starters, added tannin and some oak. To me, today is the "official" start of spring. Enjoy the weekend all!!

Anyone else start their Chilean wine recently, and if so, what varities?

I will be starting mine today. Petite Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Merlot and Zinfandel. Its exciting every time I do it!

Merlot, Malbec, Cab Sauv, Carmenere, and Moscato for me. Just transferred them all to 2nd ferm yesterday. My MLF bacteria, Inoferm Beta, should arrive today.
