Is this known to be true? It's the first I've heard of it. Is this simply the norm for all the big kit makers?

IME, FWK is the only vendor that provides a separate nutrient pack.

Well, I know that... but that doesn't dictate whether the other companies have or haven't blended yeast nutrients in with the juice. I know they tweak acids.

Industry logic; A company survives on repeat sales, this will happen if the quality meets the expectations of the end user. ie if it needed extra nutrient it is there.

Not sure why you doubt what I wrote. Anyway, WE have the nutrient labelled on the ingredient lists which you will find on the outside of the box.
