Anybody have one of these (or a knock off)?

I'm tempted to purchase a knock off I saw on Amazon. The specs look good, but I'm not sure what the real life experience will be. I'm not interested enough to fork over the kind of cash they want for a brand new GoPro, but might buy one on eBay if it was really worth it.

Don't care a ton about 4K video, but do want 60fps in 1080p, which the knockoff claims to do, as well as 4K at a low frame rate.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Just bought a GoPro Hero+ about 3 months ago. Mostly as a fun thing to take out to my sons place when skiing. Used it when snowmobiling and then skiing. Worked out pretty nice. Mounted it on a helmet.

Looked at the GoPro Session, as it was $199 also, but the nice thing with the Hero+ is I can bluetooth into it with my phone so I can view the videos, pics, etc. and make setting adjustments from my phone.

I did a fair amount of research on them and found out their prices are set, as far as the actual GoPro.

Going to take it to Spain with us and mess around with it over there too. Again, it is more of a play toy than anything else for me.

Did you get the 3 or the 4? There are some good deals on the 3+ Silver on eBay. I think that'll meet my needs without breaking the bank. (used anywhere from $125-$200) The knockoff I'm looking at is only $83 though. Plus those easy Amazon returns. :h

My wife bought me the GoPro Hero with every imaginable accessory, to use for hunting. I find that the field of view is too distant to mount on a shotgun while hunting ducks, or a rifle for deer.

However, with the attachments, there are an incredible amount of things you can do with it. My daughters make vacation videos, underwater filming, the remote screen / iphone / ipad functions are great. Favorite so far is mounting it on the head of our puppy.
