Got the bottle, now I need the cork!

So my niece, Galina, is getting married in December. She asked that I give her a BIG bottle of wine for the occasion.

I found this bottle as a display in a liquar store (empty). When I went to buy it, the clerk hemmed an hawed. I said, "I would like to buy this.. I'll give you $40". The next thing I knew, I had a sales slip handed to me.

The bottle did not have a cork. It just has a sleeve over the opening.

Here is my question... Where can I find an appropriate cork and sleave for this? This is a 6 liter bottle. It does not take a #8 or #9 cork. I was thinking of just getting a cork stopper and sanding it down to fit.

Here's a site that sells 6 liter bottles with corks. Maybe if you call they will sell you just the cork?

Doubt they will only sell you 1 cork. You may have to buy 30.
