Grape newbie

Hello all, we bought our first grape vines mars grapes and planted them 3/29 we live in Tn. When we bought them from a local nursery they were budding pink buds, since planting have turned brown. Are they ok, just transplant shock?
when should we expect them to bud back?

I can't say what the brown is without seeing a pic, and even that may not help a hobby grower like me. That said, you should be ok. The buds that sprouted have secondary and tertiary shoots that can spring into action of the primary shoot fails. And if all those fail, base buds on older wood can sprout to keep the vine going

Yes I went out to check yesterday, and new flowers are coming back!!
