Hi There....

Been making kit wines for quite a while now and decided after lurking for a while to join in and share info. I have well over 1,000 bottles in my cellar and always have 4-6 kits going at the same time; sometimes more. And no, I'm not addicted; I keep telling myself. I give away more than I drink but it's all in fun and pleasure that I do this. Giving a bottle of home-made wine always sparks signs of pleasure in the people I treat. What a wonderful hobby.

Anyway, I look forward to making many new friends, sharing stories and info.

Oh and Merry Christmas to all.

...over a 1000 bottles of wine in your cellar and you give most of it away. What was that address again? :)

Welcome to the forum. We can always use another "winemaker extraodinare!"

Welcome aboard! So, you are not addicted? Over 1000 bottles in cellar? .....OK......

Welcome from the Pacific Northwest!
It will be interesting hearing about some of your favorites.

Well gentlemen, thank you for the hearty welcome! I do certainly appreciate it very much.

At this point we have the following aging:
24 gallons of CRP from last year; 12 gallons of Amarone; 24 gallons of lambrusco; a few 6 gallon carboys of LE kits and 12 gallons each Petit Verdot and Nero both the new WE kits. I just bought a few more of each of those at a huge discount that I couldn't resist so I'll get them going next year (about 2 weeks) :)

I'll post more later or in the morning. Enjoy your evening.

Hahaha! Julie might take issue with calling her a gentleman. BTW her husband is a bruiser! LOL :b

Robie, no self respecting addict would leave over 1000 bottles wasting away in the basement. That would be Alcohol Neglect!!!!:dg :sm

OOPS! Gentlemen and Gentlewoman; hope that corrects it. Didn't see that at first. :)

Why thank you Flem. Lol looks like Agent007 is heading for the corner right off the bat. :)

I think we all need to show on 007 door step and show him how to get rid of all that wine

Welcome James. I haven't done the math but I probably give away half what I make. Really big family you know.
