Hello group! I am trying to make wine for the first time and have soooo much to learn! I decided to make some wine with an abundance of Concord grapes and then realized I have no idea what I'm doing. Lots of questions will follow I'm sure!! Thank you all in advance for helping this newb!

Welcome to the forum. If you wind up with some questions, ask away. Somebody will probably jump in to help you. Arne.

Welcome to the forum, Homesteader. You will find a lot of help here in making your wine. Concord is the "original" American wine that was made here in colonial America. I have made it in a dry form, enhanced with other berries, e.g. blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. I turned out to be a nice "drink by itself" wine as opposed to drinking it with a particular food. But don't judge by me. I prefer big Italian red wines, primarily. It is all a matter of personal taste.

Rocky (in Ohio where we "live free or drink!")

Thanks for the welcome - I thought of Concords as being an oldie but wasn't sure if its a goody or not! I've never heard of anyone making it but fingers crossed! Will start browsing the boards to figure out some of the bazillion questions I have.
