Greetings from Massachusetts all.
This forum looks GREAT!!! I just stumbled across it and had to join.
I have made Dandelion wine and Honey Mead using (allegedly) medieval recipes, i.e. rather low-tech (you can't imagine the looks I got when I went into the wine making supply place and asked for three stone bottles and a pig's bladder balloon-
).
I just completed a grape arbor in my yard this autumn (with a pre-existing, reasonably productive, grape vine-variety unknown) and I hope this year will crown my first attempt at a grape wine.
I have much to learn and, apparently, much to read.
I look forward to learning my way around.
