I know a guy that would H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) in the airlocks, is that normal? Anything better?

Also, is there any main difference for going with Glass or Plastic Carboys? Do I just need 1 for 1 batch, or should I get 2 (siphon from one to the other, to reduce sediment)?

TIA

For the airlocks, I've always used K-Meta, I have no idea if H2O2 is better or worst, I dont see what it could hurt as long as you keep the right lvl.

You get get away with one carboy by racking to the primary and rack back into the carboy once it's clean.
I find it way better to have a second carboy as it saves a lot of time (less cleaning) and it reduces the chances of contaminents going in the wine

Can't imagine using H P for the air lock. What is in the air lock can accidentally get into your wine.

Use kmeta sanitizing solution or vodka.

Plastic Better Bottle are as safe as glass carboys. It is all a matter of preference. Glass has some advantages, plastic has others. Just don't use water bottle.

He said once the air hits it, it will turn to water anyway, not sure if that's true or not. This guy made huge quantities of mead (using honey).

It will turn to water so why bother use k-meta, vodka or something else. Plain water is cheaper than peroxide and its gonna end up the same thing.

Water is fine just check on it from time to time. Especially in the warm months. I start off spraying a bit of sulfite and water in the airlock. Never had a problem aside from some wine occasionally entering the airlock slightly in August when warm weather causes the wine to expand.

Some folks use vodka. H. Peroxide is fine but water is simpler.

Only thing you gotta watch are those darn fruit flies. I had some get thru an airlock full of water and into the wine. (Still haven't figured that one out!) That's why I would suggest the sulfite solution. Vodka is fine, but I don't want vodka touching my wine!

Counter productive, hydrogen peroxide breaks down into H2O and O. That is putting albeit a small amount of oxygen in your carboy.
