Happy New Year to me!!!

Well, it's actually Happy Birthday to me, I recently had a birthday (Dec. 30th), and my dear mother gave me a choice of a Kitchen aid fresh pasta extruder attachment or a new barrel....Pfffftttt.....I didn't even have to think about that one!
I figured that I'd use the Pasta maker maybe a half dozen times a year, but the barrel....I'll use for years to come.
I'll be calling Vadai today to order barrel #4, another 6 gallon/23 liter barrel.

Happy birthday... I just heard this morning on NPR about twins born minutes apart but whose dates of birth are a year apart. One was born minutes before the year ended and the other a couple of minutes after the new year began but Dec 30 sounds like a fine date to be born.
