Our similar family table is still in my parent's basement but I'm not sure how good the chrome is. Good to know where you found solid chairs to match. Thanks.

Meanwhile back in Saskatchewan, it warmed up to above freezing and rained (twice). My ice boots don't cut it and I have to put on tungsten ice spikes to keep me upright during my winter walks. While streets are salted and sanded, pedestrians are left to fend for themselves.



Just got back from a 4km walk.

I made coffee in my kitchen this morning for the first time in 9 months. Also, had a meal at the table there this evening. Still a couple small things to do before moving on. For one, I am waiting on brushed brass handles for the appliances. Good thing they are not here and installed, since we have found that one induction burner on the range does not work with any pans that work on the others, so we will be contacting Costco to see what happens now. But the construction is 99.9% done.
