I am just getting into wine making and was wondering where I can get a "Complete" wine makers kit . for one gallon since im just starting out I am kinda a perfectionist so I want a good kit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks yall.

I don't know of any one gallon kits.

Most likely, after you make your first successful wine, you are going to want a 5 or six gallon carboy.

To me, making a gallon is harder than making 5 or 6 gallons.

Hi Alan,

Welcome to winemakingtalk. You can check our vendor area, any of them will be able to help you out. But like olusteebus said, I'm not sure if anyone makes a one gallon kit.

You can get the small winemaking kits most vendors offer, but it is just an equipment kit. Usually people equate small with inexpensive. If you were to get one with inexpensive equipment and juice, it would likely turn out very thin with no body. Do yourself a favor and get a full kit including a nice mid-valued juice kit. You will be happier in the end. It is a fair amount of work to do for just 4-5 bottles of wine. Really no more to get 30 bottles and it will last longer.

I agree with everything that has been said above but I haven't gotten to the point that I think making wine is work. I am fairly new at it so it is still fun to me. I enjoy making one gallon batches but they are all fruit wines. I don't know of anyone either that makes a one gallon kit.

Yeah, I have to agree with every thing that has been said so far. One gallon is just not worth the trouble.

Ok, thanks yalll for yalls help and advice I will try and seek a vendor that sells 6 gallon kits one last question plastic or glass???? Thanks again for yalls help

I know you can get full one gal kits near me but I wouldn't recommend them to some one who is serious about starting to make wine. You're gunna be making hundreds of gallons if you enjoy it. Its start with the 5/6 gal kit. Then I would buy:
20 six gal carboys
40 five gal carboys
15 three gal carboys
7 fermenting buckets
A floor corker
20 assorted wine kits with great reviews
A few one gal jugs
A few half gal jugs
A freezer for storage
5 extra hydrometers cuz you always break one
Obviously 100 airlocks and bungs
An all in one pump
A break bleeder for backup Degas tool
A few if the 168 bottle wine racks from sams club
And like 1000 bottles....

Wait, that's just my wish list... Go with the 5/6 gal wine kit for now :)
