Hi everyone,

I am brand new to this hobby. Just started a couple of weeks ago with a RJS Winery Series, Washington Merlot. I have a Renaissance Italian Pinot Grigio on order.
Looking forward to a lot of communication with the forum---heaven knows I'm going to need help.

Mike

Cheers!

Hi Mike,

Welcome to winemakingtalk, I hear you are able to meet up with some of us at Quaker Steak & Lube in Cranberry Twp on Wednesday.

Hey Mike Welcome to the party! Lots of great folks and a lot of the same folks from FVW. You'll get a chance to meet a few of us on Wednesday. We have a lot of fun here and are quick with answers. Feel free to ask anything any time. You already know the best man to deal with!

Mike we also have a map on this site where you cann post your location and see who's on here from around your town. Just so you know PA'ers kinda rule here.

Glad to see you made it over here Flem , yes you will recognize a few familiar names here.

Welcome aboard! I'm beginning to think we need to rename this site to the PA'ers wine making talk. Your likely to find your someone on here you know :D

I think we get a few more and we can all hold hands together for wine making sake.

Welcome to the forum, look forward to meeting you Wed.

Welcome to the group forum Mike. I think you will find it very enjoyable.

I think I am in a minority to I have not seen to many people from West by God Virginia either, even though I am only 15 minutes from Pa.

Dave

Welcome to ANOTHER PAer... Great place to learn and have fun! :se

There won't be a grape left in PA this fall if the members keep coming from there. Welcome to the obsession.

Are you all trying to prove not much to do in PA. except drink wine? Course in order to enjoy it, you have to make it. Or at least buy it. Since it is snowing here, maybe I should wait for it to quit and join you. Sounds like lots more fun than pushing snow. lol, Arne.

we're not heavy we're PAers... hehe Texas is to dry and to a PAer, Dry (as in no alcohol) is a bad thing....

Plus here in PA we are very alert drivers having to avoid potholes and deer running across the road. Our skills are put to the test at every ice storm as well.

In addition some of us have our own language with "Yuns" "Down Tawn" "an at" You Texas'ers wouldn't understand us.
