Thought I would say Hello, been lurking around the forums for a few weeks. Seen some new interesting recipes, like the Skittles recipe.

I had been using some other forums but ya'll seem more my type, the other site was more into brewing, and not so much wine.

Howdy Charles. Welcome.

Been a member here for quite some time and I can say although we have grown, the atmos[here here hast changed, just more of it.

Great group of friendly people in here who are willing to help whenever they can.

Tell us a little bit about your wine making experience.

What have you made, what are you interested in making?

I'll for sure have to check out this Skittles wine thread. Thats my cats name, and just may be an excuse to try another wine! LOL

Cheers.

Good Morning! Welcome to the forum. Be prepared to be entertained!! :)

Welcome Charles:
Your name was mud around here this morning. Wife got a new kitten and the grandkids named it Charlie. She managed to spill handcreme on the floor and in the 5 seconds she took to get a towel to wipe it up, ol Charlie managed to troop thru it. Ready to leave for work, not quite late, but on hands and knees wiping prints off the floor and cat paws. Thanks for joining, if you have any problems with your wines, just ask, we all try and help. Arne.

Welcome to the forum. Hope we can be of assistance.

Say hello to SE Oklahoma for me. My family came from there. Still have a few family members in the Hobart/Granite area.

Thanks for all the Welcomes.

I started out making Wine, June of this year. I have made several batches. First I made a Chardonnay from a kit that came with my equipment. It turned out decent.

Since then I have Made
6 Gal Blackberry
6 Gal Strawberry with Bananas for body
5 Gal Rice wine with Raisins and Apples
6 Gal Skeeter Pee
5 Gal Apfel Wein
6 Gal Pears with Cranberries

Currently the Apfel Wein and Pear are in Secondaries. My Primaries are empty, I have got to empty some wine bottles before making any more. I have given a boat load of wine to friends, with the stipulation that I get the bottles back. I have put back a case of each for aging.
