my name is rob.
found this place looking for recipes etc, i am in transactions buying some lightly used brewing gear and a lot of logan berries :) plus additives are in the mail with my straining bag and cleaner. i am very excited to get started making many batches. i might need a few more than just one carboy though. anyway, hello to everyone and thanks for having me.

Hi Rob...if its not too late, see if you can get varying sizes. Can't tell you how much I have saved in "top off" wine having some three, two, and one gallon jugs around. Welcome to the forum
 
Welcome to the forum, Rob. You will definitely need more carboys and as Gr8zins says, get an assortment of sizes. Having too many carboys is like having too much money! :)

Rob you didn't just go out and buy some carboys, you stole them at that price!!! I would buy every single one of them!! You can always easily sell them for 3x that amount.
 
alright i'm going in! well a guy at work said he would take a couple of the carboys so i am buying them all and keeping three, anyone know a good shop in victoria, bc to get yeast and the like? i have pectic enzymes and p.sorbate and citric acid and sterilizer, i just need yeasts and finings now
