It's a bit marginal for grapes here in the Snowdonia foothills, so I currently do what I can with Bilberries, Blackcurrants and Brambles - it's always a race against the birds, but I can generally run to a few gallons a year.
We've also got a 70+ year-old red vine at the house in Romania, which gave us about 200kg fruit last year. My grape wine skills are pretty poor though - it's drinkable enough (maybe being regularly below 0'C in storage helps), but I can't help feeling I'm wasting an awful lot from the fruit...
I'm sure many questions will follow!

Welcome to WMT.

We have a lot of wine makers here that forage for fruit as well as flowers. I’m lucky enough to have a blackberry patch.
