Hi My name i s Lee I am from NE PA. but have lived in FL for about 16 yrs and now back in PA.
My Interest in Wine making go back when i was a young sapling. as a kid we would go to my grandmothers house and i would see this glass bottle with a balloon on it. I remember asking to drink it but wasn't allowed. As i got older and my grandparents died so did the knowledge of how to make wine go with it. the only recipes i got was the 24 hour pickle and canning peaches. Years gone by and I started to really enjoy a good wine as some friends would get the cheap screw cap wine or box o wine. I would always prefer the 15.00 or better wine.
So i moved back to Pa and started pickling and canning as i found the old recipes. and had a few Extra pounds of nice sweet peaches. What to do what to do?? I didnt want to can anymore. then the light went on and Bingo i will Make WINE like grandma did. So I read read and did some more reading.
The first batch of Peach is now in its Primary and about to start the blueberry . looking forward to trying some Real Nice KITS if i can get my hands on any. darn Megiloli no Cab Sav to be found anywhere. maybe a chard?? I also seen that some Fresco will be available in OCT from MM maybye I will get some of that. I will post some Pics soon.
Hope to learn as much as i can from the experienced wine makers as i am sure i will have a lot of questions.
