Just getting into wine making almost done with my first batch, hope it comes out well.

I live with my partner in north Dallas basically frank ford and the tollway. If anyone is around give me a holler!

I posted to another message that you had on the board. I did not realize that you were in the Dallas area and reasonably close to George's store. I have heard (and I hesitate to say this so as not to discourage you) that those Italiano kits are not the best. You may want to go over to George's store and talk to him. There are ways to enhance the product that will not add a lot to your investment, e.g. add a merlot "grape pack" to enhance the taste and body. Just a suggestion.

Well now that things are back to normal

I completed my first batch with the cheap stuff and it turned out pretty good. Now its time to move on to the big boy kits

Ethan, what did you make? Do you have any pictures? My first kit was one of the 10 liter variety and it did not turn out too bad. I have played around with a few of the bottles and I can make it taste fairly expensive.
