OK I have 2 batches going
1 wine expert sauvr blanc in primary bucket day 8 sg 1.40
2 artful winemaker riesling just stabilized.

I heat my house with wood so I have these set up in BR with a space heater tat had a thermostst . It didn't work.
When I checked tham this evening the room temp was 100 and the wine temp was 94.
Oh Sh#$t. It did smell nice though. Did I screw them up?
 
Probably not.

BTW, assume that Sauv Blanc sg is really 1.040. Which actually is fairly high for day 8. So I better ask if you actually meant 1.004.

yes 1.040 it was only 67 to 68 the first 2 days. it took a couple before it kicked off
since then its been dropping about 0.010 a day
