Obviously your boss never had his ASK sued off for telling people to come to work (or else) and then they die in a car wreck trying to come to work......

I dont ever recall any snow days besides school here, they can care less about us over here I guess! My boss would laugh first and then say your f***ing kidding me right, get your dupa here right now!

Well the snow has subsided after a total of 12+ inches. After having 30-40 mile an hour winds , I spent 2 1/2 hrs. digging out with my front-end loader. I also had the help of a good neighbor ( with a big track tractor and bull dozer blade ) and the county grader. So I am officially dug out!!!!

That was one of the nastier storms. 60MPH winds then bitter cold. Was 4 degrees this AM but at least its sunny and 23 now!

It was not fun out today either. The snow is gone but the chiil artic winds are coming down from the mountains. And guess who got locked out of the house while he was taking the trash out. Wind blew the door shut. Spent 45 minutes in the cold without a proper coat until Kat came home for lunch. Who takes their phone or keys with them to take the trash out? I know I will from now on.

How did the door get locked? Do you live where it is routine all the time?
Very Sad......

We used to lock the doors, but the thieves would break in and make a mess. Now they can walk in the unlocked door and often times feel sorry for us and leave us some money on the nightstand.

We got 6" here so after getting 2 shots in my spine I had to come home and blow snow and shovel!

Wade, the shots are supposed to go into the mouth and through the gums, not the spine!

Seriously though, we got snow also. More than was expected here- right on the edge of the storm and then long distance lake effect snows streaming all the way across the Adirondacks here. Hard to tell how much snow there was though because it all blew away(except for the 6-10 inches left on the ground).

We werent supposed to get any accumulations! Luckily I woke up early that morning as I had to shovel my way out of the driveway just enough to go to work, Go straight to the doctor on the way home and then do the driveway good, It had rained and we also had freezing rain all on top of that snow. Thank God I bought a snowblower cause my back would not have handled that mess.

Wade , I feel for you and know what you're up against. I broke my back in a work related accident 11 years ago and my back hasn't been worth a ( BLANKETY BLANK ) since. I've had a constant backache ever since, but then again I went from paralized to walking again so maybe I shouldn't complain.

Keep coming up with ways to make winemaking easier because I listen and use all I can get.
