Inoculating vines during planting

Have any of you tried inoculating vines at planting time with either Actinovate to improve vine resistance to fungus or Galltrol-X for increase resistance to crown gall? I am contemplating trying these products and would like to hear from anyone that uses these or has past experience with them. I’m also trying to find someone that carries Gallex so that I can buy a jug to try.

Actinovate is not expensive. You wouldn't have much to lose experimenting with it. I spray it from time to time.

I was looking to soak the roots in it prior to planting new vines. I am currently using Serenade as part of my spray mix.

I understand. That was my point, there is no downside, it won't hurt and might help. Not particularly expensive. I use serenade at this time of year as well.

Just to let you know, the vines I soaked with this and followed with a soil drench later are not showing any signs of fungus this spring. All other vines I have show some signs of downy, which is typical here. And they have only had one spray so far this spring. I think I like it.
