+1 for adding the full F-pack at the end. I also bumped my starting SG up to about 1.085.I made this using the full F-pack at the end, and it is my favorite Island Mist kit so far. My hope for this wine was an alcoholic Country Time Lemonade, so the full F-pack at the end gave it the sweetness I was looking for. I don't keep many sweet wines, but this is one I'll keep making as long as it is offered. I think I can accept the sweetness because it also has the tartness from the lemon flavor. My by-the-book version is just over a year old now, and I'd happily make it the same way again.
I boosted my SG by adding corn sugar and white grape juice concentrate. Both can be purchased from Label Peelers along with the kit.If you don't mind me asking, what did you end up using in the primary to bring your SG up? I like stronger wines as well.
I don’t know if y’all have tried Monkfruit Sweetener? For my sweeter wines and meads, and bc we try to do lower carb diets generally, I use the Monkfruit Sweetener.Thank you, I think I will do that to have a slightly sweet wine. Besides that we don't care for overly sweet, my husband is diabetic and I need to keep the carbs down as much as possible.

I, myself am particularly sensitive to artificial sweetener flavors and aftertaste. In most cases I’d rather do without the fake sweetened food or beverage. With Monkfruit, I don’t get the fake taste or feeling.
